Remember the Roots

Many  people who choose to embrace the spiritual life try to just aim for the Light and try to neglect the  darkness that is also part of life. The higher that one goes in spiritual consciousness , the deeper they must descend into their subconscious and develop that within themselves as well.

People believe that wanting to work for the Light, to be wise and fair and impartial is enough to create spiritual growth. Unfortunately that is not the case. Look at a tree; the higher the branches reach, the deeper go the roots as well. It is a system of balance, of compensation- and you can’t have one without the other. Every person on a spiritual path must be careful to maintain a balance between the conscious and the subconscious.
This is what I teach people to do.
